The house
Pinecrest gives a big group space as well as time together. The great room has vaulted ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace and a big dining area, while two king suites with private baths give the grown-ups a retreat. Kids get a bunk room of their own, the den doubles as a game room, and the two-level back deck and hot tub look out into the pines.

Check-in from 4:00 PM, check-out by 10:00 AM. Self check-in with a keypad; arrival details are sent before your stay.
Guests and parking
Pinecrest sleeps up to 14 guests. Placer County separately limits guests aged 12 and over to 12 overnight and 18 during the day; children under 12 don’t count toward those limits, so a group of 14 includes at least two children under 12. Parking for up to 4 vehicles on site, 2 in the garage and 2 in the driveway (compact cars); street parking isn’t permitted.
Quiet hours and house rules
Quiet hours are 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM, as set by Placer County, and outdoor speakers aren’t allowed at any time. No pets, no smoking or vaping anywhere on the property, and no parties or events. Outdoors, wood fires and charcoal aren’t permitted. Trash goes in the bear box.
Layout, stairs and winter
The house has two levels. From the entry, stairs lead down to the lower level, and a full staircase leads up to the main level, so it may not suit guests with limited mobility. Deck furniture, the grill and the ping pong table are set out in summer only. In winter storms, Caltrans may require chains or 4WD/AWD on the drive in.
Cancellation
Full refund if you cancel at least 30 days before arrival, and a 50% refund at least 14 days before. The terms for your dates are shown before you pay.
Payment, fees and security
Your total is itemized before you pay: nightly rate, cleaning fee, taxes and a 1% booking fee. Stays for more than 12 guests include an extra-guest fee. Before arrival, we may place a refundable security hold on your card or collect a refundable damage deposit; if it applies, the amount and timing are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe. Exterior security cameras cover the driveway, front door and rear sliding doors, and noise monitors (sound levels only) are inside and on the deck.
